Ron Recasner . . . . . . .August Dupree

Ron Recasner, a graduate of the Yale School of Drama, is originally from New Orleans. He has performed with the Yale Repertory Theatre, The Mark Taper Forum, Berkeley Repertory and numerous off Broadway, regional and local theatres.

Acting credits include:

Theatre: The Tempest, Nuts, Twelve Angry Men, Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Frogs, Slow Dance on the Killing Ground, The Rise & Fall of the City of Mahogany, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, History of American Film, Company, Wolf Child ,New Orleans Remembered

Movies: 2010, Defense Play, Doll in the Dark, Stone Cold, Dead Air, When the Bough Breaks, Sarah in America, Blue Bus.

Television: Hill Street Blues, Good Times, Perry Mason, Matlock, Martin, Diagnosis Murder, and Murder She Wrote, Friends, LA Law, Family Law, The Nanny, and Doogie Howser.

Directing credits include: Beatrice & Transformations, Evening of Love & Poetry (Yale Cabaret & New Haven Public Television) Solitaire Double Solitaire, Look Back in Anger, Bert, Gra'-Maws Café, New Orleans Remembered.

Ron has also written and produced for the Theatre: Bert, Gra'-maws Café, New Orleans Remembered, parts 1 & 2. and REINE.

Ron has been the Casting Director for Scarpaci/Kelly Productions for the past seven years, casting the award winning Disney Children's series, Beyond the Page and the award winning independent feature, Welcome To September, for which he was also Associate Producer.
